WWE Confirms That Neville Is No Longer Under Contract – Is He Free To Wrestle?

Neville

Neville is no longer under contract to WWE.

While details are scarce, a source with direct knowledge of the situation claimed to Pro Wrestling Sheet last night that Neville is no longer under contract to WWE.

WWE has since confirmed the news to F4WOnline.com, with Dave Meltzer noting that Neville is actually free to wrestle elsewhere now.

Despite WWE’s confirmation of Neville’s departure, the organization’s official website still has him listed as a current Superstar. Although, this would indicate that the people who run WWE.com haven’t been notified of his departure from the company.

On October 10, 2017, multiple sources reported that Neville walked out of a Monday Night Raw event in Indianapolis, Indiana the day before and appeared to have quit WWE. The reports added that he had been unhappy for a while. He was supposed to lose to Enzo Amore at the show in a WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match but was replaced by Kalisto, who ended up beating Amore to capture the title.

Neville has been publicly silent since then with his last social media post, seen below, coming on September 29, 2017, in a tweet ripping WWE Shop over a T-shirt.

As a result of his absence, his WWE contract was frozen for the time he wasn’t working, which would have pushed back the expiration of his contract. Meltzer reported a few months ago that Neville moved from Orlando, Florida to London, England. He’s also spent time in Tokyo, Japan as a photo popped up last month of him at a gym there.
