Paige Is ‘Days Away’ From Making Her WWE Return, Says Alberto El Patron

Alberto El Patron (aka Alberto Del Rio) believes Paige’s return to WWE may be imminent.

The four-time world champion ruled out his own return to WWE, but he sees Paige getting back inside the ring in no time.

“It’s going to happen pretty soon,” El Patron said. “I cannot give you any more details because I will get her in trouble. They told her to lay low and not to talk too much about it.

“She’s probably days away from going back to WWE and [doing] something in the ring.”

The two-time Divas Champion hasn’t wrestled since June 2016. After being drafted to Raw in the WWE Draft, Paige received a 30-day suspension for a wellness violation in August 2016 and then earned a 60-day suspension for a second violation two months later. In October 2016, she confirmed she underwent neck surgery, which has so far precluded her from coming back.

Paige got fans excited in September when she tweeted a photo from the WWE Performance Center.

According to El Patron Paige is still training at the Performance Center in preparation for her return.

“She’s getting ready [to return to WWE],” El Patron said. “She’s in Orlando at the moment. She’s been there for the last six weeks.”

As for El Patron, he’s working for Combate Americas again and that he might even fight for them.

El Patron was asked when he would be tying the knot with Paige. He said that they are both busy right now, but “maybe next year.” He then added that he needs to discuss marriage with Paige.
