The Rock Starring In Upcoming Baywatch Movie

– Variety reports that The Rock is set to star in Paramount’s upcoming movie based on the hit TV series Baywatch.

Seth Gordon is set to direct the movie, which will be co-produced by Seven Bucks Production, the entertainment company owned by Rock and ex-wife Dany Garcia.

Plot details have not been released yet but sources close to the movie noted to Variety that Paramount wants to go the comedic route. Gordon did the hit movies “Horrible Bosses” and “Identity Theft” so Paramount is hoping for Baywatch to be along those lines.
