New Details On Alicia Fox’s Argument With Ronda Rousey’s Husband During WrestleMania Weekend

Alicia Fox

An angry Alicia Fox called UFC fighter Travis Browne rude during an argument at the New Orleans hotel for WWE talent the night before WrestleMania 34 and the incident was captured on video.

The footage, which was published by the UK Sun, starts with Alicia pointing her finger in the face of Ronda Rousey‘s husband while calling him rude and saying “I can’t believe you.”

Travis is heard defending himself, but an unidentified woman nearby steps in and lets Fox know she’s being filmed. Fox then quickly turns to the camera and slaps it away.

Here is footage of the ordeal.

Shawn Valentino, who contributes to the Pro Wrestling Torch, gave his account of the incident to sister site ProWrestling.net and revealed that he was the person who filmed the video:

“We were witnesses and participants of a near PR disaster when Alicia Fox and Ronda Rousey’s husband Travis Browne were in a heated argument. It was unclear what the riff was about, but it was an explosive situation, and it has made international news.

“Fox even started yelling at fans. “You pay to see me. I don’t pay to see you.” Actually, her matches are the bathroom break or what we fast-forward through on the Network.

“When I tried to record the incident, she slapped my phone out of my hand. It was a chaotic scene involving the husband of one of Wrestlemania’s main eventers so it could result in repercussions for Fox.”

Dave Meltzer addressed the incident in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter published today, and noted that at about 12:30 a.m., Fox got into an argument with somebody who was with Browne. About two hours later, both ended up in the same place. Fox came up to Browne and started yelling at him and made a scene. Browne, however, didn’t know what was going on. The situation got quickly diffused.

Rousey wasn’t with Browne at the time as he was out drinking with friends.

Meltzer adds that Fox is still a few weeks from being cleared to return to the ring after breaking her tailbone during a rehearsal for the Women’s Royal Rumble Match in January.
