Alicia Fox Leaving WWE Later This Year?, Ruby Riott On Being Left Off Money in the Bank, Main Event

Alicia Fox

– Alicia Fox, who has not been seen in a WWE ring since January, was backstage at last night’s Raw from the Verizon Arena in North Little Rock, Arkansas. With WWE’s focus on Money in the Bank this Sunday, she was not used.

This was Fox’s second appearance at a WWE event since Wrestlemania 34 weekend, where she got into a heated argument with UFC fighter Travis Browne, the husband of Ronda Rousey, at the hotel WWE talent were staying at. Video footage of part of the argument leaked online, leading to some media attention.

There’s been speculation about Fox’s long-term status with WWE since then. According to PWInsider, one WWE source said that Fox’s current contract expires later this year and she hasn’t signed a new one.

We reported back in January 2016 that Fox signed a three-year contract that would keep her in WWE through at least 2019. Although, it was reported a few weeks after she signed the contract, so it should expire in either December 2018 or January 2019.

Fox has been out of action since breaking her tailbone during a rehearsal for the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble Match the night before the match. There’s no word on whether she’s been cleared to return to action. Her being backstage at Raw doesn’t necessarily mean that she will be active for the show since injured talents are sometimes flown in to be examined.

Fox was also at Raw on May 21 in Albany, New York, but not used.

– After brutalizing and humiliating Bayley last night on Raw, The Riott Squad, or rather Ruby Riott, emotionally spoke to Charly Caruso about being left off the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match this Sunday. Riott then puts the Raw Women’s division on notice and says that Bayley, Sasha Banks, and Natalya “are going to get what they really deserve.”

– The following matches were taped last night in North Little Rock, Arkansas for this week’s episode of WWE Main Event on Hulu Plus:

* Apollo Crews and Titus O’Neil (Titus Worldwide) vs. Konnor and Viktor (The Ascension)

* Chad Gable vs. Mojo Rawley
