Alicia Fox

– Alicia Fox, who has not been seen in a WWE ring since January, has been cleared to return to action from injury.

“Alicia Fox was just cleared and is expected back at any time, presumably once they have an idea for her,” John Pollock of PostWrestling.com reported on Tuesday.

In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter published today, Meltzer says she was cleared to return on Monday.

Fox indicated on Instagram that she was in Grand Rapids, Michigan for Monday Night Raw.

Fox has been out of action since breaking her tailbone during a rehearsal for the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble Match the night before the match.

During her hiatus, Fox got into a heated argument with UFC fighter Travis Browne, the husband of Ronda Rousey, at the hotel WWE talent were staying at. Video footage of part of the argument leaked online, leading to some media attention.

There’s been speculation about Fox’s long-term status with WWE since then. According to PWInsider.com, one WWE source said that Fox’s current contract expires later this year and she hasn’t signed a new one.

We reported back in January 2016 that Fox signed a three-year contract that would keep her in WWE through at least 2019. Although, it was reported a few weeks after she signed the contract, so it should expire in either December 2018 or January 2019.
