Paige Opens Up On ‘Pie Face’ Altercation With WWE Fan Last Month

Paige has opened up on a WWE fan assaulting her after Money in the Bank.

Following the June 17 pay-per-view event at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, the General Manager of SmackDown LIVE revealed on her Instagram Story that a fan pie-faced her through her car window and told her to lose weight.

She wrote, “To the “fan” that decided to pie face me through my car window and then tell me to “lose some weight Paige”.. you inspired me to keep being myself and eat whatever the f I want. Good luck with your karma!”

She wrote the message over an image of her eating high-calorie food at a restaurant.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com heard from a fan who was in the vicinity of the incident that Paige was in the passenger seat of a car leaving the arena. As she was saying goodbye to fans with the window down, a male fan struck her in the face and yelled at her.

Johnson was told that the fan got confronted after the incident, but not by Paige.

A fan who was outside the Allstate Arena at the time filmed the aftermath and labeled the physical incident as more of a slap. As seen in the video below, fans continued to approach Paige as she speaks with security.

The person who shot the video also says the driver chased the fan and security apprehended him.

Paige opened up on the incident on Renee Young’s Regular Girls podcast (H/T: Wrestling Inc. for podcast transcription)).

“Every time I fly to Chicago there’s always like thousands of fans anyway, they’re all diehard fans which is great, but you always get one dickhead, right?” Paige said.

“So while I’m tagging people’s hands he comes along to like shove his hand in the car to like pie-face me. So, everyone who seen it, it was like slow motion and he put it on the end of my nose and I’m like, ‘What the fuck?’

“Then he told me to ‘lose some fucking weight, bitch.’ I was like Clueless, ‘As if?’ Yeah,” Paige said as Young helped her identify the movie reference.

“So that happened, and I remember I got in the car, and I was so mad about it, but I was like, ‘You know what? I’ve had a very shitty year-and-a-half and I really need to get my shit together.

“Because if I blow up right now it’s definitely gonna be on the internet and it’s gonna be Paige being the bad guy. So I was like, ‘Alright, I’m gonna relax.’ I texted Mark Carrano because obviously he’s our boss and I was like, ‘This is what happened out here, just to let you know.’

“I was really upset about it because, you know, you can never make everyone happy. You’re either too skinny or too fat. And you know how you get angry tears? It was like angry tears, like grrr.”
