Arena Statement on Monday’s WWE RAW and Tropical Storm Erika

– There has been a lot of speculation that Monday’s WWE RAW in Tampa, Florida may be in trouble due to Tropical Storm Erika making its way to the area. You may remember WWE was forced to broadcast RAW from their TV studios in Stamford in January of this year due to a blizzard. Regarding the event possibly being canceled, it is still currently scheduled and The Amalie Arena issued the following statement:

“Amalie Arena and our partners at WWE are aware of Tropical Storm Erika’s potential impact to our area in advance of WWE Raw on Monday, August 31. At this time, the event is not cancelled. However, we are keeping the storm top of mind. We will release any pertinent information as needed.”
