Dolph Ziggler Possibly Transitioning Into a Backstage Role for WWE

As noted, Dolph Ziggler is putting his career on the line this Sunday at WWE No Mercy at Intercontinental Champion The Miz puts his title on the line.

There’s talk of Ziggler actually losing the match on Sunday, according to Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Live.

Furthermore, it was noted on MLW Radio and Ric Flair’s podcast that WWE officials are looking at Ziggler to transition from an in-ring talent to a producer’s role like Jamie Noble and others have done.

It will be interesting to see if the 36 year old is really going to hang up the boots this Sunday. Ziggler has really tried to further his stand-up comedy career in the past year and recently started getting more involved in commenting on politics, with several appearances on Fox Business.
