Her real name is Masami Odate (大館昌美, Ōdate Masami) and she was born on May 8, 1990 (age 34) in Kamakura, Kanagawa, Japan. She previously wrestled in Japan and WWE’s NXT brand under the ring name Io Shirai (紫雷 イオ, Shirai Io). Her WWE nickname is The Genius of The Sky.
