As the longtime ring announcer of WWE, Lilian Garcia has become recognized as the voice that has introduced many of wrestling’s most historic moments.In addition to announcing, Lilian is an accomplished vocalist. Prior to many WWE shows, she performed stirring renditions of “The Star-Spangled Banner.” She has also opened up for many professional sports teams, including the New York Jets and Phoenix Suns. The popularity of her amazing voice eventually led to the release of her album, ¡Quiero Vivir!, in 2007.

Given her beauty and charisma, it was only a matter of time before Lilian caught the eye of a WWE Superstar. In May 2005, the inevitable happened when Viscera proclaimed his love for the sexy songstress. Lilian and Viscera didn’t look like a typical couple, but they shared a deep connection. Or so Lilian thought. The relationship eventually crumbled when Viscera chose The Godfather’s ladies over her.

After a two-year hiatus, Lilian returned to WWE in December 2011 as the ring announcer for SmackDown and eventually Raw. For nearly five years, her angelic voice remained synonymous with the sports-entertainment organization. Though her second stint with WWE concluded in 2016, she returned for a few big moments, such as the first Women’s Battle Royal at WrestleMania (WrestleMania 34 on April 8, 2018) and the first all-women’s WWE pay-per-view event, WWE Evolution on October 28, 2018.

Garcia reemerged on Monday Night Raw on May 13, 2024, where she was asked by ring announcer Samantha Irvin to introduce Gunther and Kofi Kingston for their King of the Ring Quarterfinal Match. On Raw on October 21, 2024, Garcia handled ring announcements in place of Irvin, who announced her departure from WWE earlier in the day. Garcia continued handling ring announcements for Monday Night Raw until December 30, 2024, which is also the final episode to air on the USA Network. Garcia shifted over to Friday Night SmackDown on January 3, 2025, switching roles with Alicia Taylor.

After ring announcing on WWE Friday Night SmackDown in Barcelona, Spain on March 14, 2025, Garcia revealed on Instagram that it was her last show as the regular ring announcer. Garcia, however, remains under contract to WWE as the ring announcer for WWE Saturday’s Night Main Event on NBC and Peacock. Garcia also noted that she will sing at WWE events and could show up on Raw or SmackDown whenever she’s needed.
