The Rock’s Business Partner and Ex-Wife on What She’s Learned from Vince McMahon, Rock – WWE Relationship

Newsweek recently sat down with the Rock’s ex-wife and business partner Dani Garcia at this link. In addition to other topics, Garcia discussed their production company, Seven Bucks Productions and more. It was mentioned that early in Rock’s WWE career, Garcia was “extremely comfortable speaking to the WWE leadership and executive team” about everything from Rock’s contracts to his future in the company.

Garcia gave Vince McMahon credit for helping her to hone her craft as a successful business person:

“He has taught me some amazing lessons that we use [today] as far as taking care of the audience and being an audience-driven company. He’s helped raise the lion is how he looks at it.”

It was also noted that Rock still returns to WWE TV when his hectic schedule allows but there are no legal agreements between the two sides. Garcia said:

“We have no legal agreements between us. With Vince McMahon we’ve always been able to shake hands. That’s a very special relationship in this day and age, that we can operate with that level of trust.”
