Sin Cara Cleared To Return After Suffering Knee Injury

Sin Cara

After suffering a knee injury on Sunday at a SmackDown live event in Madrid, Spain, Sin Cara has been cleared to return to the ring.

F4WOnline.com reports that Cara was medically cleared today.

During a Triple Threat Match against United States Champion Baron Corbin and Sami Zayn, Cara ducked a clothesline attempt from Corbin that sent Corbin out of the ring. When Cara ducked, he landed awkwardly on his leg. Corbin and Zayn immediately went to the finish of the match.

A fan caught his apparent injury on video, which you can see here.

Sin Cara was scheduled to be evaluated prior to yesterday’s house show in Lisbon, Portugal but ended up not wrestling on the event. He tweeted out a message apologizing to the fans in Lisbon for missing the show and wrote that he hopes to see them soon.

The United States Championship was changed to Corbin vs. Zayn vs. Bobby Roode vs. Dolph Ziggler, with Corbin retaining after pinning Roode.
