Despite an earlier report from TMZ claiming that Sting would be retiring from in-ring competition, the WWE Hall of Famer says that he is not officially retired.
“My neck is okay. I’m not officially retired. There’s a lot of rumors out there, but I’m not officially retired,” Sting said Saturday night to a TMZ reporter.
Before Sting left the scene, the reported asked him about Hulk Hogan’s lawsuit. He refused to comment.
Sting could just be using semantics here since the original report said that the plan was for him to officially announce his retirement at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony. He has not wrestled since injuring his neck in a match with Seth Rollins in September.
