- Following weeks of hype, Konnor and Viktor, collectively known as The Ascension, made their debut Monday on Raw. The much-hyped prospects made an impact in their first Raw match by quickly defeating The Miz and Damien Mizdow. Both individuals received negative marks from management for appearing out of shape.

- AJ Lee, who was reported last week by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter as being sidelined with an undisclosed injury, spent the holidays in Rincon, Puerto Rico with CM Punk. Considering her marriage to recent UFC signee CM Punk, not to mention seemingly never ending rumors of her pending departure, speculation continues that her status with WWE is in doubt. However, the Observer noted that despite a certain level of discomfort considering the circumstances, she is expected to be back in 2015.
