- John Cena became the new WWE United States Champion at tonight's WrestleMania 31 pay-per-view by defeating Rusev. This is Cena's fourth reign with the title.

With Cena winning the US Title and Daniel Bryan capturing the Intercontinental Title tonight, this appears to confirm previous reports that WWE officials, mainly Triple H, were looking to bring both titles back to prominence and make them mean something again.
