Don't expect Velvet Sky to ever pose for Playboy

With Velvet Sky's curvaceous physique and tendency to flaunt her assets without any shame, wrestling fans have wondered whether the
former TNA Knockout will finally go all the way by posing nude for Playboy. Naturally, fans of the blonde starlet
are hoping that she one day follows in the footsteps of Sable, Torrie Wilson, Maria Kanellis, Ashley Massaro, Candice Michelle,
Christy Hemme and Chyna by posing nude for the famed publication. Fans, however, shouldn't count on it ever happening.
The two-time TNA Women's Knockout Champion has stated multiple times on Twitter that she has no intention of posing for
Playboy. In fact, she once said that it's a "quarter to never" of ever happening.
In December 2014, Playboy published a list highlighting 'The 25 All Time Hottest Women in Pro Wrestling' and
Velvet made the cut.
"Thanks for the mention!" she remarked of the honor on Twitter.

As seen Friday on Impact Wrestling, Velvet Sky was “fired” by TNA Wrestling. The former TNA Knockouts Champion wasn’t technically part of TNA’s Feast or Fired Match. However, according to the rules, when a person pulls down the case, they get whatever is in it. Whether they are in the match or not, the person who pulls it down is the holder of the case. So when Robbie E. used her to get a case down for him in the match, she got the pink slip instead of him. Whether it be a X-Division, Tag-Team, or World Championship shot, you also take the chance of getting the “fired” case in this match. It is very much a risk or reward scenario.
Sky will now leave TNA, which is a big bummer to a lot of fans. "The Beautiful People" member has been quite popular in her time with TNA. It comes as a big shock, but this was planned for a few weeks, and Sky could be leaving for good. Velvet’s contract expired, and she didn’t sign a new deal.
That meant TNA needed to find a way for her to be written off of TV. The Feast or Fired Match was a perfect way to do that. Unlike how it is with many others who get the case, it seems that Velvet might be done with TNA. A lot of rumors have gone out regarding her potentially
retiring or going to the indy scene.
Velvet Sky is quite popular with fans, so it makes a lot of sense to see her make a decent living away from TNA. But that more than likely won't include a stop in WWE. While she looks great, she is now 33-years-old and the sports-entertainment organization has never shown much interest in her services. If you recall, she was rejected to appear as a contestant on the 2007 Diva Search.
She was also a free agent for a few months in 2012 due to a contract dispute with TNA and WWE still didn't sign her.
Velvet' main asset is her appearance, and quite frankly, she's a dime a dozen in that regard since countless attractive
woman are trying out for the company these days, with most getting rejected. This is pretty much due to Total Divas as many of these women who would not have otherwise attempted
wrestling are being lured by the prospect of being reality television stars on E!.
While rumors of her departure from TNA may very well be true, she will most likely wind up back in TNA due to her lack of
options and the company's tendency to bring former wrestlers back time and time again. Whatever happens, don’t expect this to be the last of her.
