Renowned for her work as a fitness model, Trish Stratus entered WWE in March 2000 as a manager, leading the careers of both Test and Albert.
Shortly there after, she began her long-standing rivalry with Lita. The two would go at it several times over the course of 2000. After the breakup of T&A, Trish immersed herself with Vince McMahon, an affair that did not please his daughter
Stephanie McMahon.
The two would wrestle at No Way Out 2001, however, Stephanie emerged victorious. Vince McMahon turned on Trish the following night on RAW. Trish would gain a measure of revenge at WrestleMania X-Seven as she slapped Vince across the face.
After her situation with the McMahon family ended, Stratus began focusing on wrestling full-time. After winning her first Women's Championship at Survivor Series 2001, Trish's career skyrocketed. During the next 18 months, she picked up three more Women's Championships (wins over Molly Holly,
Jazz and Victoria) the RAW Diva of the Decade award, and her first WrestleMania victory.
Since 2003, Trish Stratus has gone from the object of Chris Jericho's affection, to becoming
Christian's main squeeze, to antagonizing both Lita and Christy Hemme, to the target of Mickie James' obsession. Along the way, she picked up two more Women's Championships (wins over Lita and Victoria) and she solidified her status as one of the greatest, if not the greatest WWE Diva of all-time.
As a six-time titlist, Trish Stratus holds the record for most reigns as Women's Champion. Unfortunately, Trish's wrestling career may come to a conclusion come fall time as her WWE contract will be expiring in September.
