WWE'S Pig And Fat Jokes Toward Vickie Guerrero
Vickie Guerrero, the least likely wrestling success in years, asks for her contract release from WWE in May 2009. Guerrero's
request is perfectly rational: as a single parent, she feels it is important to spend more time with her fatherless
teenage daughters during their crucial adolescent years. Vince McMahon's reaction to her decision is irrational to say the least.
He takes grievous offense and begins to rant and rave that Guerrero has betrayed his organization. Yes folks, Vince believes
that the widow of Eddie Guerrero is ungrateful to the professional wrestling industry because she is putting her
family first. From this point forward, Vince's shameless lackeys curry his favor by pitching gratuitous pig and fatso
jokes at creative meetings -- which earn booming cackles from the WWE Chairman.
To explain her departure from WWE, Guerrero berates fans on the June 8, 2009 Raw for not showing her sympathy
after her loss to Santina Marella in a Hog Pen Match at Extreme Rules. Refusing to be humiliated anymore, Guerrero
then quits her job as General Manager of Raw. After her shocking announcement, she was joined in the ring by her estranged
husband, Edge. The Rated-R Superstar viciously reiterated his feelings from the night before, announcing that he plans to divorce
Guerrero and adding that the only reason he married her was to use her power.
Edge says, "What am I saying? I'm saying the sky is blue, the grass is green, and I married you for your power! You see,
Vickie, I want to be champion at any cost, and you no longer have that power, so you can't help me be champion since you
quit, so YOU'RE WORTHLESS!"
Guerrero blurts out, "You don't mean those things, you don't mean it!"
Edge responds, "What, I don't mean those things because I LOVE YOU, BABE? C'mon, when we were out in public people
thought you were my mother. Seriously, look at me, I'm six foot fight, flowing blond hair, good looks, you think I should be
seen with a SHE-BEAST? What, you think I should continue with this sham of a marriage? The only saving grace...the
ONLY saving grace is that we never actually consummated the marriage! It's fitting that your days in the WWE are over
because so is this marriage. I WANT A DIVORCE!"
After Edge left his soon-to-be ex-wife, Guerrero broke down screaming in the middle of the ring.
