Following the main event of Saturday’s WWE NXT live event in Louisville, Kentucky, Finn Balor, Shinsuke Nakamura, American Alpha and Bayley all had a “curtain call” moment in which they did the “Too Sweet” gesture and celebrated in the ring.
After the celebration, Balor got on the mic and said someone must have left a door open because he feels a “draft.” He then closed by saying himself, Nakamura, American Alpha and Bayley “are NXT” and that one day, fans will see everyone standing in the ring at WrestleMania.
Prior to the event, Balor took part in a Facebook Live Q&A session and Tom Phillips wasted no time in asking him about the WWE Draft. His response:
Despite what you may think, I’m normally the last person to find anything out. I’m not sure how the Draft works, whether it’s only people who are currently on Raw or SmackDown, or past people, like Alumni can be drafted, or is it open to the entire WWE Universe? Can we draft fans? Or, can Mr. Regal draft someone to NXT? I would love John Cena in NXT, or “The Viper” Randy Orton.
