Mick Foley Thinks The Authority Is Played Out, Becky Lynch Talks Issues With Charlotte, Aliyah

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon

– This week on The Steve Austin Show, Mick Foley explains why he may no longer be watching Raw, offers suggestions on how to improve the show, and volunteers to work with new talent on the art of cutting promos. He also offered his thoughts on The Authority angle, which he believes is played out.

With the ratings for Raw continuing to decline, Foley specifically worries that WWE is going to double-down and make the show even more Authority-heavy than it is right now. Foley and Steve Austin talked about Triple H being the positive voice for NXT and Stephanie doing such great charity work, and how both of those things make it confusing to watch them be heels on Raw. Austin talks about many of the storylines lacking substance. He also mentions how the storyline never seems to change with The Authority standing in the way of some people winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and handing it to others.
