– Tonight’s TNA Impact Wrestling is the final episode before the Slammiversary pay-per-view. Matches include Sienna vs. Madison Rayne in a #1 contender’s match, Eddie Edwards vs. TNA X Division Champion Trevor Lee, Maria Kanellis and Mike Bennett vs. Gail Kim and Ethan Carter III, plus Matt Hardy vs. TNA World Heavyweight Champion Drew Galloway. – Tonight’s show will be opened by Matt Hardy addressing the much talked about contract signing with brother Jeff Hardy last week.

– The 2016 AAA Lucha Libre World Cup ended this weekend with Team Lucha Underground defeating Team AAA in the finals. Team TNA was knocked out in the quarter-finals by Team Mexico International. It was indicated that TNA may be hosting the Cup in 2017 but that has not been confirmed.
