Wade Barrett Makes A Big Announcement, Del Rio Responds To People Who Say Wrestling Is Fake

– Stu Bennett, who was known as Wade Barrett in WWE, teased some big news on Twitter on Wednesday.

He wrote, “BIG announcement coming later today. (and no, I’m not the new @England manager..)”

Bennett later revealed that he has been cast for Evolutionary Films’ forthcoming feature film, Vengeance. He landed the lead role of John Gold and will be pitted against martial arts legend Gary Daniels, who will play his nemesis Hatcher in the film.

– During a promotional tour of India last week, Alberto Del Rio addressed criticism of wrestling “being fake.”

“If someone thinks wrestling is fake… the storylines sure, but the matches are real,” he said in an interview with ndtv.com. “And if someone says I don’t watch wrestling because it’s fake, well, would you like to try doing it first?”
