Will There Be A Women’s Royal Rumble?, Paige’s Dad Reacts To Her WWE Return, NXT Star Turns 23

– With the return of Paige and several NXT female stars being promoted to the main roster this week, there has been a lot of speculation that WWE is planning to hold the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble Match at the Royal Rumble in January. According to Dave Meltzer on Thursday’s edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE currently has no plans to hold a Women’s Royal Rumble Match.

– Paige’s father Ricky Knight tweeted the following on her daughter’s return to WWE.

So proud of my daughter for fighting back from a year of injury and massive problems to see her back on TV brought tears to my eyes and sense of pride beyond description thanks to the WWE for sticking by her it would have been so easy to give up on her.

– NXT star Aliyah celebrated her birthday on Friday as she turned 23 years old.
