WWE Considered Changing Crown Jewel Main Event Again, Lana Asks Daniel Bryan For Ladder Match Advice

– After Roman Reigns vacated the Universal Championship last week on Raw to take time off to battle leukemia, WWE announced that Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman would face-off at WWE Crown Jewel for the vacant title. There was a pitch made last week to add Drew McIntyre to the bout and turn it into a Triple Threat Match, but the creative team ultimately decided to keep the match as Lesnar vs. Strowman. With that being said, creative is interested in having McIntyre, Lesnar, and Strowman square off in the proposed Triple Threat Match within the next few months.

Although McIntyre will not be wrestling at Crown Jewel, he should have a role on the show. According to PWInsider, McIntyre is currently in Saudi Arabia. Ziggler is facing Kurt Angle in the first round of the WWE World Cup Tournament, so expect to see McIntyre in his corner.

– In this bonus clip from last night’s episode of Total Divas, Lana asks Daniel Bryan for Ladder Match advice with the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match drawing near.
