WWE announced Wednesday afternoon that Alberto Del Rio has been suspended for 30 days effective tomorrow for his first violation of the Talent Wellness Policy.

STAMFORD, Conn. — WWE has suspended Jose Rodriguez (Alberto Del Rio) for 30 days effective tomorrow, Thursday, Aug. 18, for his first violation of the company’s talent wellness policy.
The timing of his suspension is quite interesting since his girlfriend Paige is celebrating her birthday today. She turns 24.
Del Rio was beaten by John Cena on Tuesday night on SmackDown Live.
