Backstage News On Who Will Be In Both Elimination Chamber Matches, Update On Jason Jordan’s Injury

Elimination Chamber

At Elimination Chamber, John Cena, Elias and Braun Strowman will be joined by three yet-to-be-determined Superstars as they square off in an Elimination Chamber Match to see who will go on to face Universal Champion Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania on Sunday, April 8. All three Superstars qualified for the match this past Monday on Raw as Cena beat Finn Balor, Strowman beat Kane and Elias beat “Woken” Matt Hardy.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins are slated to be participants in the Men’s Elimination Chamber Match.

Jason Jordan was originally slated for the match, but is dealing with a neck injury (not a back injury as reports initially said). Jordan has continued wrestling and WWE has been trying to protect him by having him do as little as possible. Jordan is also having issues with his grip and that is usually very serious.

It was announced this past Monday on Raw that five Superstars will challenge Alexa Bliss in the first Women’s Elimination Chamber Match. According to Meltzer, advertising in the Las Vegas, Nevada area (where the event will take place) is promoting Nia Jax, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose as the five other participants.

Elimination Chamber takes place on February 25, 2018, at the T-Mobile Arena in the Las Vegas Valley, in Paradise, Nevada.
