Backstage Note on Mickie James Working WWE NXT, Xavier Woods as Black Power Ranger, Jerry Lawler – Bobby Lashley

– The following “Minute Match-Ups” from Ismahawk features Xavier Woods as the black Power Ranger in Power Rangers vs. Voltron.

– Bellator MMA stars, including Bobby Lashley and Kimbo Slice’s son Baby Slice, will be appearing at Jerry Lawler’s “Hall of Fame Bar & Grille” on Beale Street in Memphis on October 19th to promote the Bellator MMA event in Memphis next weekend. Lawler will also be appearing. TNA star Lashley will be there to promote his fight with Josh Appelt.

– As previously reported, former WWE Women’s Champion Mickie James will return to the ring for WWE at WWE NXT “Takeover: Toronto” next month to battle NXT Women’s Champion Asuka. Bryan Alvarez indicated on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE had some plans with Trish Stratus for this year and next year but now that she’s expecting her second child, it’s possible they are working with Mickie instead. As of now, Mickie has signed on for just the match with Asuka but it sounds like she could be back for more appearances. She was also rumored for a WWE Performance Center job at one point.
