Becky Lynch Talks New Title (Video), Update on the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Tournament, Paul Heyman

– As previously reported, WWE Backlash on September 11th will feature the first-ever women’s six pack challenge for the brand new Smackdown Women’s Championship. The following Smackdown Fallout video features Becky Lynch discussing her upcoming contest with Naomi, Carmella, Natalya, Alexa Bliss, and Nikki Bella. Becky says she didn’t come to WWE to blend in with the crowd, she came to stand out and feels that the new title will really make her stand out.

– In addition to the women’s championship, the Smackdown Tag Team Champions will be crowned at Backlash. Thus far, American Alpha, The Usos, The Hype Bros. and The Vaudevillains are still involved in the “tournament.” Heath Slater and Rhyno also seem to be involved, and will be in action next week but we don’t know who their opponents will be. The Ascension were eliminated on SmackDown by The Usos and Breezango was eliminated by American Alpha.
