Big Spoiler from This Weekend’s Lucha Underground Season 3 Tapings

– Sexy Star became the new Lucha Underground Champion after winning Aztec Warfare 3 at Saturday’s Lucha Underground tapings in California, according to F4Wonline.com.

The match saw Matanza Cueto, who was undefeated, get pinned by Rey Mysterio half-way through the match. Pentagon was then taken out by four Asian women, believed to be Angela Fong, Io Shirai, Mayu Iwatani and Kaiji Hojo.

The match came down to Star and Mil Muertes, and ended with Star pushed him off the top through a table, then hitting the top rope stomp for the win.

The match will air in the third season of Lucha Underground, which airs in early 2017 some time.
