Linda McMahon Comments on Meeting with Donald Trump Earlier Today
The Hartford Courant reports that Linda McMahon met with President-elect Donald Trump today at Trump Tower in New York City about a possible position in his cabinet.
“The meeting went great,” McMahon told reporters in the lobby of Trump Tower in New York. “Anytime … the president-elect of the United States asks you to come in for a conversation, you’re happy to do that. We talked about business and entrepreneurs and creating jobs … we had a really good conversation.”
Linda told reporters to “stay tuned” when asked if Trump offered her a position in the administration.
No word yet on what position Linda might be offered. She was previously considered for Secretary of Commerce but that position has been filled by billionaire investor Wilbur Ross.
