Paige Biopic ‘Fighting With My Family’ Pushed Back To 2019

A few weeks ago, WWE started playing a clip from the upcoming comedy-drama film, Fighting with My Family. The scene was basically a promo from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who in addition to playing himself in the story of Paige and her wrestling family, also has a producer credit via his Seven Bucks Productions. There was even speculation the recently retired Paige had been moved into her current role as the General Manager of SmackDown LIVE to help promote the movie ahead of its September 2018 release date.

Well, it seems that clip is all we’re going to get from Fighting with My Family for a while, as Deadline reports it’s been pushed back to March 1, 2019.

There haven’t been any reports of concerns about the picture from MGM, who purchased the distribution rights for a hefty $17.5 million, WWE Studios or Johnson’s camp. The report says the reason for the move is to get away from a busy Sept. 14 weekend headlined by the latest movie in the Predator franchise.
