SmackDown LIVE Superstars Added To Women’s Royal Rumble Match, Future Star of NXT Award Nominees

— Thirty female Superstars will fight for a title match opportunity when the 2019 Women’s Royal Rumble Match takes place on Sunday, January 27. The winner of the massive melee will go on to challenge for either the Raw Women’s Championship or the SmackDown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 35.

While backstage at tonight’s WWE live event in Greensboro, North Carolina, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville announced their entry into the Women’s Royal Rumble Match.

The other confirmed entrants are Natalya, Bayley, Sasha Banks, Ember Moon, Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan and Carmella (who earned the coveted No. 30 spot by winning WWE Mixed Match Challenge with R-Truth).

As announced on the latest episode of NXT, the nominees are Matt Riddle, Keith Lee, Mia Yim, The Forgotten Sons (Steve Cutler, Wesley Blake, and Jaxson Ryker), Dominik Dijakovic, Io Shirai, Candice LeRae, Shafir & Duke (Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke), and Kona Reeves.
