Spoilers – Three Title Changes At Wednesday’s Impact Wrestling Tapings

At Wednesday’s Impact Wrestling television tapings in Orlando, Florida, Austin Aries beat Pentagon Jr. to regain the Impact World Championship.

Pentagon Jr. just won the title on Sunday at Impact Wrestling’s Redemption pay-per-view, beating Aries (the champion heading into the match) and Fenix.

Wednesday’s match between Aries and Pentagon Jr. originally ended in a double count out. Aries said there needs to be a decisive winner and the match was restarted. It ended in a double count out again, but Pentagon Jr. cut a promo in Spanish and the match was restarted yet again. Aries ended up winning the match and the Impact World Championship.

Aries has held the Impact World Championship or a title in its lineage three times now and he is also the current Impact Wrestling Grand Champion.

Later in the night, Su Yung beat Allie in a match billed as a Last Rights Match to become the Knockouts Champion for the first time.

Allie was inspired by her friend, Rosemary, for the match. However, with help from The Legion of Undead Bridesmaids (Yung’s new faction of minions), Yung locked Allie inside a casket to capture the title.

Then in a tag team match, the team of Andrew Everett and DJ Z beat Eli Drake and Scott Steiner to become the new Impact World Tag Team Champions. Drake and Steiner beat LAX (Ortiz and Santana) for the titles on Sunday at Redemption.

These title match will air on Impact Wrestling within the first three weeks of May.
