– WWE Extreme Rules takes place tomorrow night at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and there’s still the question as to which match will go on last. On WWE.com’s section for Extreme Rules, AJ Styles defending the WWE Championship against Rusev is being promoted as the top match. However, it seems unlikely that the WWE Championship Match will end the show.
According to @WrestleVotes on Twitter, a WWE source said that as of last Monday, Roman Reigns vs. Lashley is scheduled to go on last at Extreme Rules. There has also been an internal push for the show to end with Dolph Ziggler vs. Seth Rollins in an Intercontinental Championship 30-Minute WWE Iron Man Match, but that seems unlikely. Finally, there is almost no behind-the-scenes support for Styles vs. Rusev to close the show.
