Is WWE Limiting Nia Jax’s Right Hand Punch?, When WWE Stars Get Wrecked, WWE Announcer Turns 50

Nia Jax

** Nia Jax takes great joy in reminding the WWE Universe that her right fist broke the face of SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and gave her a concussion, and she hopes to put Ronda Rousey in the same predicament when the two square off for the Raw Women’s Championship at WWE TLC.

Dave Meltzer speculates in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE want to turn Nia’s right-hand strike — which she calls the “Facebreaker” — into a devastating finishing move (quite like Big Show’s Weapon of Mass Destruction, or WMD for short).

The idea is that whenever Nia would have thrown a punch to the face during a match, she’ll now throw a punch to the body. She’ll only use the “Facebreaker” under special circumstances for devastating results.
