Sunny To Be Sentenced Later This Month, Why She’s Currently Incarcerated, Probation Violations

Sunny

WWE Hall of Famer Tammy “Sunny” Sytch will be sentenced on Friday, November 18th in Carbon County, PA by Judge Joseph J Matika for her recent probation violations. Sytch has been incarcerated since September 23rd.

As we’ve noted, Sunny was sentenced on August 18th for DUI charges she racked up in 2015. After spending 95 days in rehab, the last 60 paid by WWE, Judge Matika sentenced Sunny to serve 97 days to 5 years in prison but gave her credit for time served – the 95 days in rehab, and 2 days in jail. She was then placed on probation for 5 years, which also called for bi-weekly drug and alcohol testing. The Judge warned Sunny that she would be sent back to jail as there was zero-tolerance for any substance use. Sunny was also ordered to pay $2,100 in fines, $1,000 in court costs and $50 per month to cover probation costs. She also had her driver’s license suspended and was ordered to do 125 hours of community service.

Less than three weeks after being sentenced, on September 5th, Sunny was charged with receiving stolen property by the Lehigh Township Police. A week later on September 12th, Sunny was charged with possession of alcohol and being under the influence of alcohol. This is the same day she was rushed from her home by ambulance to a hospital in Palmerton, PA. She indicated on Facebook that the hospitalization was due to previous pancreas issues she had.

Sunny was released from the hospital on September 20th but brought back to the same hospital on September 23rd after police were called to her home. Court records show that Sunny was then charged with being under the influence of alcohol again. This would have been her third probation violation. She was then transported from the hospital to the Carbon County Correctional Facility and has been there ever since. With the Judge warning her about his zero-tolerance policy, it looks like the WWE Hall of Famer could be heading to prison.
