WWE Looks at Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens, WWE Global Cruiserweight Series Update, Lou Thesz

– Today would have been the 100th birthday for WWE Hall of Famer Lou Thesz. Former WCW star Yuji Nagata turns 48 years old today.

– As noted, Zack Sabre Jr. and Jack Gallagher won WWE Global Cruiserweight Series qualifying matches at a PROGRESS Wrestling event in the UK this weekend. The updated list of confirmed names for the 32-man tournament are Sabre, Gallagher, Rich Swann, Tomasso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, Akira Tozawa, Lince Dorado and Ho Ho Lun.

Revolution Pro will host Noam Dar vs. Josh Bodom on May 1st in London as a qualifying match and EVOLVE will host two qualifiers on May 7th in Brooklyn – Fred Yehi vs. TJ Perkins (Manik) and Drew Gulak vs. Tracy Williams.
