WWE Universal Title Match Announced for Clash of Champions

Seth Rollins will challenge for the WWE Universal Championship against Kevin Owens in the main event of Clash of Champions in Indianapolis on September 25th.

The match was made tonight on RAW by General Manager Mick Foley. As of right now, that is the only confirmed match for Clash of Champions.

We noted earlier via The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Finn Balor was scheduled to defend the WWE Universal Title against Owens at Clash of Champions before the shoulder injury. That match would have ended in a way to set up Balor vs. Owens vs. Chris Jericho at the October 30th Hell In a Cell pay-per-view from Boston.
