Becky Lynch

SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch sustained a broken face and severe concussion during last night’s SmackDown LIVE Women’s division invasion of Monday Night Raw, WWE.com can confirm.

As a result, Lynch will no longer be facing Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey this Sunday at Survivor Series.

WWE.com adds, “Tune in to SmackDown LIVE now on USA Network for more on this developing story.”

Here is our original report on this developing story:

According to a report this afternoon by Fightful.com, Lynch suffered a broken nose and concussion from the multi-woman brawl that ended last night’s show in Kansas City, Missouri. Due to the injuries, Lynch has been pulled from facing Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey this Sunday at Survivor Series.

Lynch was checked by doctors following the end of Raw and she did not immediately travel with the SmackDown crew to tonight’s show in St. Louis, Missouri. WWE has yet to make an official statement on the matter.

Nia Jax stiffed Lynch during the brawl, causing her to be cut open. Fightful initially heard there was no heat on Jax for the incident, but with the new information, the sentiment has changed.

Lynch has been active on social media since the incident, specifically posting photos of her bleeding from the brawl.
