Brie Bella’s Retirement Coming Sooner?, Backstage Talk on Daniel Bryan, Laurinaitis Married (Photos)

– I noted before that a source reported to me how Daniel Bryan’s relationship with WWE has not change and was said to be strong, despite Bryan being pulled from “Daniel Bryan Appreciation Night” WWE live events, the post-WrestleMania UK tour and WrestleMania 32 Axxess. WWE also confirmed to us that Bryan requested time off and it was granted.

In an update, word going around is that Bryan was pulled due to a health issue. No word yet on what that issue is but apparently that’s also why Brie Bella was not at RAW and SmackDown this week, according to ProWrestlingSheet and PWInsider. We noted several weeks back that Brie was expected to retire this summer but now she’s expected to finish up as soon as the night after WrestleMania 32 on RAW. Brie will reportedly continue appearing on Total Divas, other WWE Network programming and in an ambassador role for the company.

On a related note, Bryan’s new father-in-law is WWE producer John Laurinaitis as he and The Bella Twins’ mother Kathy Colace were married this week. We noted several months back that the two were engaged after meeting at a WWE event. Below are photos from the wedding day:
