Money in the Bank

Ever since they parted ways with Impact Wrestling, there have been numerous reports about Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis’ future in wrestling. It has been said the couple was headed to WWE, and according to PWInsider.com, that’s not only true, but their debut is imminent.

According to PWInsider.com, the couple was spotted Saturday night in St. Louis, which is the site of tonight’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view.

A WWE fan, who flew into the St. Louis for the show, tweeted this photo last night of the couple with WWE star Epico at St. Louis Lambert International Airport.

They are scheduled to debut this week as part of the SmackDown LIVE brand. It is not known whether they will be debut on tonight’s pay-per-view or on Tuesday on SmackDown LIVE.

Kanellis posted the following on Instagram hinting at her return to WWE.

After wrestling for much of her run with WWE, Kanellis mostly served as Bennett’s manager during runs in TNA, Ring of Honor and on the independent scene.

Bennett has never been with WWE, but at approximately 6’ 1” and 230 pounds, he’s someone who’s long been seen as a good fit with the company. There’s been more than a few questions among fans about where he fits in an already crowded scene on SmackDown, however.

Previous rumors stated Mike and Maria signed with WWE this past April and were slated to debut at NXT TakeOver: Orlando, but that obviously didn’t happen.
