John Cena Says He Can’t Challenge The Undertaker, Will Appear On SmackDown Live

After teasing a match with The Undertaker tonight on Raw, John Cena’s road to WrestleMania will continue on this week’s episode of SmackDown LIVE.

Cena cut a promo on Raw to explain why he’ll be appearing on SmackDown LIVE, with him saying he’s heading to the brand to earn a spot at WrestleMania. Cena discussed failing at the Royal Rumble and the Elimination Chamber during his promo. He then issued a WrestleMania challenge to The Undertaker, before saying that the match isn’t happening since he’s been told it’s impossible.

Cena, who is a free agent in the WWE Universe, represented SmackDown LIVE in last November’s Survivor Series main event but hasn’t been on the show since August. He’s been advertised for the brand’s Fastlane pay-per-view on Mar. 11 since early January.

The STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, which advertised Cena’s appearance earlier today, will host SmackDown LIVE tomorrow night. Ruby Riott vs. Naomi is the only match that has been announced for the show as of now.
