Ruby Riott Has A Message For The Boss ‘N’ Hug Connection After Return On Raw

Ruby Riott was back on Raw tonight after being gone over a month due to injury.

She made her return towards the end of a match pitting her Riott Squad stablemates, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan, against Sasha Banks and Bayley. She emerged under a hooded sweatshirt as Bayley was going after Morgan on the outside of the ring. Both she and Morgan then jumped Bayley as Logan rolled up a distracted Banks for the win.

“For five weeks I’ve had to sit at home and watch the broads of the Raw Women’s Division attempt to teach my squad, my family, a lesson,” Riott said in a post-match interview backstage. “That’s a joke.”

Ruby went on to talk about The Boss ‘N’ Hug Connection and how The Riott Squad is planning to test the limitations of their friendship.

Riott had been out of action since the end of June, spraining her MCL in a match against Dana Brooke at a WWE live event in Rapid City, South Dakota. At the time, it was estimated that she would be out of action until at least the end of July.

Following Riott’s injury, Ember Moon faced either Morgan or Logan on Raw four consecutive weeks (with Moon beating Morgan in all of three of their encounters and losing to Logan in one encounter). Morgan and Logan began working with Banks and Bayley last week.
