To no one’s surprise, the Legends Of The Ring VII event in New Jersey attended by Iron Sheik, Scott Hall, Ric Flair and others ended in controversy. During the Iron Sheik’s roast, the night turned ugly when a comedian made what was described as a "tasteless Owen Hart joke." This prompted Scott Hall to get up and go after the comedian.
