- Bucky Palermo, a longtime friend of the McMahons and former wrestling referee, visited the WWE Bragging Rights pay-per-view and when he asked Stephanie McMahon about Shane, she told him, "He doesn't work here anymore" as opposed to saying he's not here and is leaving soon. When Bucky asked what happened, she said, "I don't know."
- WWE recently stopped Irish company Mideuro Imports of Dublin from importing 100,000 euros worth of counterfeit WWE merchandise. WWE has requested that French customs destroy the goods and is seeking an injunction against Mideuro from importing any other WWE intellectual properties in the future. The fake WWE toys came through France but were made in China.
