Following the news that former WWE Superstar Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart passed away, the wrestling world took to social media with remembrances of Neidhart’s legendary life and career, sending their love to his daughter Natalya and the entire Neidhart family. Natalya posted a message today thanking everyone for their love and support.

“I really want to thank everyone for all of the love that they’ve shown to my dad and my family in the last day. It means so much to us in this tough time,” Natalya wrote.

“My dad would be so blown away that you all thought so much of him. I can’t find the words right now to express what my dad truly meant to me, but in time I will be able to. I didn’t realize saying goodbye would be this hard. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a cause that’s close to my heart and my dad’s, womensalzheimersmovement.org 💜

“I promise to keep your memory alive and continue to pay it forward.”

Natalya issued a previous statement on Monday.

“I can’t put into words how hard it is going to be for myself and our family to have to say goodbye to my dad,” Natalya wrote on Twitter and Instagram. “He meant the world to us, and nothing will ever replace the special times we shared together as a family. My dad was always a fighter and an incredibly special person. There was no one like him! I’m just gonna miss him so much.

“We are going to hold all of the moments we had with him close to our hearts forever and never let them go. I promise to keep your memory alive. We love you so much, Daddy!

“On behalf of my entire family, we would also like to personally thank everyone for the outpouring of thoughts and prayers. It’s meant so much to us.”

Neidhart passed away Monday morning after a medical emergency at a home in Florida. He was 63 years old.
