Is Becky Lynch Still Considered A Heel By WWE?

Becky Lynch

Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey was slated to slug it out with SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch at Survivor Series but plans changed when “The Irish Lass Kicker” suffered a broken face and fractured nose during the blue brand’s surprise assault on Monday Night Raw, and she wasn’t medically cleared to compete. “The Man” herself emerged before fans to pick her replacement, and she chose her bitter rival, Charlotte Flair. The two then embraced with a heartwarming hug.

Despite everything that’s gone down with Lynch, she’s still considered a heel by WWE.

EWrestling.com, which revealed exclusive news and notes on Survivor Series from a first draft production sheet, said Lynch was listed as a “female heel” on the talent roster chart.

Nothing has changed on Lynch’s injury status. Dave Meltzer said Wednesday on Wrestling Observer Radio that Lynch is “off of everything” and there is no word on when she’ll be cleared to return to action.

“No return date,” Meltzer said on her return to the ring.

Concussions are unpredictable in the sense that it can keep a wrestler out of action for days, weeks, months or even permanently. Concussions have led to multiple WWE Performance Center trainees leaving WWE and quitting wrestling altogether.

In the meantime, Lynch continues to tease her WWE peers via social media, especially Rousey.
